The Lymph System and Cancer

The lymphatic, or lymph, system of the body is the main portion of the body devoted to fighting off infections and staving off disease. The system works through a network of vein-like vessels as well as clusters of organs known as the lymph nodes. The entire lymph system is important for immunity but also plays a role in cancer.

Unlike the blood stream, the lymph system has a dual role in cancer cases. Not only is it important for fighting off the disease by producing white blood cells and a variety of other important devices in a body’s attempt to kill off the cells, but it also is one of the most common ways for cancer to spread to the other areas and organs of the body through metastasis. The bloodstream plays a role in metastasis but not in the first. (more…)

Importance of Colon Cleaning

Colon cleaning is the process through which we detoxify our colon. The ability of the liver and kidneys to work effectively all depends on the health of our colon.

Why do we need colon cleaning? Cleaning will be much easier for you to understand if you already know what is going on in your body. Whenever we get to eat something, it’s filtered and then divided into useful materials and waste products. The useful materials are later absorbed while the waste materials are sent to the colon for removal. Colon cleaning happens when water and salts are absorbed and feces are pushed as stool. Every single day, we are prone to the various environmental pollutants, sugar foods that are refined and unhealthy as well as not having any fiber or enough water in them. Not doing any exercises and living an unhealthy lifestyle makes us worse, especially health-wise. As a result, our bodies become fatigued. We may also experience other symptoms of an unhealthy body like unwanted weight gain, acne, zits, lethargy, constipation and bowel movements that are not regular and these are the warning signs telling you that you need a detoxing. Breast Cancer – 3 Powerful Ways to Spiritually Heal Cancer

There are many things that modern medicine cannot explain. Many who have been diagnosed with breast cancer do get better, and others who have the best medical care sometimes do not. Yes, early diagnosis is helpful, but even if you are in the later stages there are things you can do to tap into your spiritual healing energy. Below are 3 things that will help you connect to Spirit:

1) FAITH NOT FEAR

No matter what your religious beliefs, having faith and calling upon the infinite power of the Universe does help. Prayers are always answered if you ask in the right way. Fear can block your call for help and connection to this Power. If you have breast cancer the best time to ask your inner self for help is when you are going to bed at night or in the morning when you awaken. This is the time when your fearful conscious mind is not fully active, and you have a better connection to your subconscious mind. The subconscious mind is your direct connection to the infinite power of the Universe. (more…)

Choosing Alternative Medicine For Cancer Treatment

At this point in time there are so many options available, that people can take advantage of. The internet has provided us with so much useful information about various topics that did not exist, before the internet. Of course you got to know where to look. One of those is alternative medicine for cancer treatment. A lot of them are clearly proven to work, but should you really put more trust in alternative medicine, then on conventional treatment for cancer.

When a person is diagnosed of cancer or any other diseases, then the person would rightful expect, to be given the best and most effective treatment. If a doctor says that chemotherapy, surgery or any other type of treatment is the best option, then naturally we would think this is the case.

Unfortunately this is not always the case and the treatments that are used by conventional medicine, are not always the most effective. Another aspect, that is even more important than the health and well-being of the patient, is money. Without a doubt big pharmaceutical companies make a huge amount of money selling drugs to the people, including cancer drugs, which are not cheap. (more…)

Leukoplakia – The Importance of Dental Checkups to Avoid Oral Cancer

Leukoplakia is a condition in which difficult to remove thick, white patches appear in the mouth on the inner cheeks, bottom of the mouth, gums or on the tongue. While most patches are benign, it is considered a pre-cancerous condition since approximately 3% of patches do show early signs of cancer. In many cases, oral cancers appear near patches.

Squamous cell carcinoma is the most common form of oral cancer. Left untreated, it can have destructive effects on the surrounding tissue. Aggressive forms may also spread (metastasise) to other parts of the body.

While the exact cause of this condition is unknown, it is believed that mouth irritation from ill-fitting dentures or rough teeth, use of tobacco and poor oral hygiene are to blame. It is most common in the elderly population with over 95% of oral cancers appearing in those over forty. However, there is a variation that occurs in HIV positive patients, individuals with Epstein-Barr virus, and those with compromised immune systems, such as those taking immuno-suppressants after a transplant.
