I believe that your body responds to what you are thinking. We know when we are under stress we feel bad and too much stress can make us sick as it depresses our immune system. Some get cancer from stress, but when we are positive and happy we feel that we can do anything and usually achieve whatever it is we want.

Back in 1979 my father was diagnosed with colon cancer at 51 years of age. I looked after him at home and we did everything we could in the way of diets, hypnotherapy and meditation. Unfortunately, these were the days before we had all the information at our fingertips through the internet. I devoted myself everyday to the job of getting my dad well again, but he only got worse. He died within 6 months of diagnosis but not before telling me that although we were doing all these positive things, deep down he did not think they were going to work for him.
