Health officials said the bacteria is being
transmitted to humans through pigs. The
increased use of antibiotics in agriculture may
be behind the spread of the resistant strain.
What are ESBLs?
Extended-Spectrum Beta-Lactamases (ESBLs) are
actually enzymes produced by certain types of
bacteria, which renders the bacteria resistant
to the antibiotics commonly used to treat them.
ESBLs were first discovered in the mid-1980s. At
the time they were mostly found in the
Klebsiella species of bacteria, in hospital
intensive care units. Until recently, few people
were affected by these mutated bacteria and it
didn’t appear to be a major growing concern.
That has changed, however. According to the
British Health Protection Agency (HPA), a new
class of ESBL (called CTX-M enzymes) has emerged,
which are now being widely detected among E.Coli
bacteria. These ESBL-producing E. Coli are
resistant to penicillins and cephalosporins, and
are becoming more frequent in urinary tract
infections. Continue reading ‘Antibiotic-Resistant Disease Killing Humans and Swine’ »

Breast disease is the second most commonly diagnosed cancer among women, after skin cancer, including mastitis, breast hyperplasia, breast cancer. Especially breast cancer, it is one of the most common cancers in women, particularly in the developed countries. About 40, 500 women die each year of breast cancer in the United States, according to the American Cancer Society. With the lifestyle changes, the incidence of male breast cancer is increasing. The American Cancer Society states that roughly 2000 men are diagnosed with breast cancer every year.

When asbestos related disorders along the lines of asbestos lung disease aren’t recognized in its early stages, they’ve got the chance to be fatal. A lot of these fatal afflictions may be dealt with successfully if ever the man or woman affected is treated in a timely manner, and whenever the actual medical professionals understand the amount the patient has been exposed to asbestos particles. Just about the most important thing to comprehend is the fact that asbestos-related health issues have proven to be treatable if spotted in its early stages. You have to be vigilant and obtain recurring exams for diseases. Mesothelioma or asbestos health issues appear anytime a man or woman inhales the microscopic particles from asbestos materials without ever knowing it, until it develops in his or her body.

Mesothelioma is a very aggressive cancer that is caused by exposure to asbestos. Approximately 20 percent of cancers caused by asbestos are peritoneal mesothelioma. This form of the cancer manifests itself in the mesothelial cells of the abdomen when the asbestos fibers become embedded in the space between the cells. It can take as many as 20 to 50 years for the symptoms of peritoneal mesothelioma to appear. Over these years, the asbestos fibers irritate the parietal layer that covers the stomach cavity and they begin to produce cancer cells. Fluid builds up and tumors eventually form.
What are the Symptoms?
Symptoms of peritoneal mesothelioma are swelling and pain in the abdomen, diarrhea or constipation, unexplained weight loss, nausea and vomiting, and the appearance of lumps under the skin in the abdominal area.
How is It Treated?
Since this type of cancer is usually diagnosed very late in its development, a positive mesothelioma prognosis is not likely, and treatment options are limited. Chemotherapy and radiation are typically used to threat the cancer, along with medication to provide pain relief. For many patients, surgery is not an option because at the point of discovery, the cancer has already spread too far and the patient’s poor health may make him or her too weak to recover from the trauma of surgery. A symptom is an indication of disease, illness, injury, or that something is not right in the body. Symptoms are felt or noticed by a person, but may not easily be noticed by anyone else. For example, chills, weakness, achiness, shortness of breath, and a cough may be symptoms of pneumonia. A sign is also an indication that something is not right in the body. But signs are defined as things that can be seen by a doctor, nurse, or other health care professional. Fever, rapid breathing rate, and abnormal breathing sounds heard through a stethoscope may be signs of pneumonia.
Having one symptom or sign may not give enough information to suggest a cause. For example, a rash in a child could be a symptom of a number of things including poison ivy, an infectious disease like measles, an infection limited to the skin, or a food allergy. But if the rash is seen along with other signs and symptoms like a high fever, chills, achiness, and a sore throat, then a doctor can get a better picture of the illness. In many cases, a patient’s signs and symptoms do not give enough clues by themselves for the doctor to figure out the cause of an illness. Then medical tests, such as x-rays, blood tests, or a biopsy may be needed.

I fervently challenge the statement that cancer is a killer disease. Furthermore, I will demonstrate that cancer is not a disease at all. Many people who received a ‘terminal’ cancer sentence actually defied the prognosis and experienced complete remission.
George, my first kidney cancer patient was one of them. His doctors at one of the most prestigious university hospitals in Germany had just ‘given’ him three more weeks to live when he sought me out for help. According to them, his cancer was too advanced and widespread to consider having treatments of chemotherapy or radiation.
George had lost one of his kidneys to cancer one year earlier. After emerging from the operating room, his doctors gave him a ‘clean bill of health’. They used the famous ‘we got it all’ expression, which made a lot of sense to George; after all, they had removed the tumor, along with the entire kidney. Nevertheless, several months later his second kidney also started filling up with cancer, and the only ‘reasonable’ advice they had for him was to take care of his personal affairs. Cancer has become a global epidemic for decades. More and more people are suffering from this disease every year. Most of them are citizens of developing or under-developed nations. They lack information and knowledge on how dangerous cancer really is, and they also do not have sufficient access to get proper medication.
On the other hand, those who are undergoing chemical therapies are often troubled with thoughts of the potential side effects of their treatments. Conventional cancer treatments usually result in side effects such as hair loss, extreme fatigue, digestive problems, and even weakened immune system. Even after they are cured, it would take a long time for them to recover to their normal state.
Scientists are still trying hard to find a new kind of medication that can cure cancer without producing any adverse effects. They have set their eyes on more natural substances: herbs. Some of them are believed, and have been tested, to effectively fight cancer. This new type of cancer medication opens up a whole new range of possibilities. Traditional health care addresses only the effects of disease. There is a huge difference between these two approaches to health and wellness.
The major emphasis for the cancer herbal treatment is to discover the cause of disease in your body.
What are 8 causes of disease?
1 Deficiencies: Did you know the American Cancer Society has estimated that about one-third of cancer deaths every year, in the United States, are linked to diets deficient in vitamins and minerals?
2 Immune Dysfunction: When the immune system does not work effectively inflammation spreads. Inflammation is a root cause of cancer and all chronic diseases. Continue reading ‘Cancer Herbal Treatment Addresses 8 Causes of Disease’ »
