This lining of mesothelium protects organs by making a special lubricating fluid that allows organs to move around. For example to explain the importance of fluid, it makes lungs to move inside the chest easier during breathing. The mesotheliums have different names in different parts of human body:
• In chest: pleura.
• In abdomen: peritoneum.
• In the space around the heart: pericardium.
