The Malignant mesothelioma is affecting of the layer of specialized cells called mesotheliali cells that line the inside of chest, abdomen and space around heart. These cells also form a cover to the outer surface of most of internal organs i.e. this lining of cells is called mesothelium. Mixed (biphasic): in this type there is finding of mesotheliomas that have both epithelioid and sarcomatoid areas. They make up about 30% to 40% of mesotheliomas.
