42 Day Juice Fast

Rudolf Breuss was an educated man from Austria who had an innate understanding of the human body and a love for humanity. He turned his attention to finding an alternative, gentle treatment for cancer and other diseases because conventional treatments were invasive and not often successful.

Normal mainstream treatment following a cancer diagnosis is surgery, radiation and chemotherapy. Some of these treatments are successful if the cancer is caught early but the success rate for these same treatments for advanced cancer is virtually nil as statistics show that only 2-3% of people get any benefit from chemotherapy. It puts the argument forward that advanced cancer should be treated differently.

Cancer is a disease of total toxicity. Look at what we are exposed to on a daily basis. Air pollution, water pollution, pesticides and insecticides on all commercially produced food, refined foods, preservatives, chemicals and food colourings. The human body was not designed for this build-up of artificial poisonous substances, cannot deal with them and so they accumulate in the system and that is the reason for illness. Protect your skin from the sun when you can, wear protective clothing such as hats, long-sleeved shirts, long skirts, or pants. Use sunscreen lotion on your face, neck, hands, forearms and other unprotected areas of the skin. Be sure to choose a sunscreen with a sun protection factor (SPF) of 15 or greater. Apply the sunscreen before going out in the sun.

Ultraviolet radiation can travel through car and home windows, where it can contribute to the daily accumulation of sun exposure that can lead to skin cancer and photo aging. Ultraviolet rays are a part of sunlight that is an invisible form of radiation. Just what is ultraviolet (UV) radiation? UV radiation, emitted by both the sun, and tanning beds and lamps, is a known human carcinogen (cancer-causing agent). Prostate cancer, the most common type of cancer in males over the age of 50, has many treatment options available through the field of urology. If you or your spouse has this condition, you should learn all you can about the effectiveness, risks, and potential side effects of the various treatments offered to you.

Watchful Waiting

Because many prostate cancers grow quite slowly, some doctors will recommend that their patients wait to pursue treatment. This is known as watchful waiting. While they are waiting, patients will be carefully monitored by the urology department at their clinic or hospital. This allows the doctor to take action if the cancer begins to grow.

Radiation

Radiation destroys prostate cancer from the inside out. To treat prostate cancer, your urologist will place tiny radioactive particles, or seeds, inside the prostate gland. As these seeds send radiation into the tissue, it then destroys the gland and its cancer. Eventually the seeds lose their radioactive nature, and they remain inside the body for the remainder of the patients life. Continue reading ‘Urology – Treatments For Prostate Cancer’ »

Medical Breast Thermography is an FDA approved (since 1982) radiation and compression free procedure that images the breasts to aid in early risk assessment for breast cancer.

The procedure is based on the scientific principle that chemical and blood vessel activity in both pre-canceroustissue and the area surrounding a developing breast cancer is almost always higher than in the normal breast.

With Medical Breast Thermography, state-of-the-art infrared cameras paired with sophisticated computer software, detect, analyze and produce high-resolution images of these temperature and vascular changes. By carefully examining these changes, signs of possible cancer or pre-cancerous cell growth may be evident through early risk assessment often MANYyears prior to being discovered using any other procedure.

Thermography is used world wide in breast heath evaluation and breast cancer risk assessment! Thermography does not replace standard detection methods, but when used as a multi-modal approach (clinical examination, thermography, mammography), peer reviewed studies have shown that 95% of early stage breast cancers can be detected!*

“This technology is especially exciting for young women and those with dense or fibrocystic breasts since mammography is not usually usefull in these cases.  The “wait and see” and “come back in a year” is no longer acceptable” says Mary Kubisewsky, Clinic Director of Thermography Clinic Kitchener Inc., herself a Breast Cancer Survivor. Mary Kubisewsky celebrated 5 years cancer free in November/09 and now dedicates her life to encouraging women to be proactive and take control of their health especially breast health. Cancer is a diagnosis nobody wants to hear. Some forms of cancer are easier to deal with than others. Mesothelioma is unfortunately a bad one and often calls for a particular point of reference when it comes to treatment – an aggressive one!

Mesothelioma is a brutal form of cancer because it usually does not manifest until the very late stages of growth. The cancer is associated with exposure to asbestos fibers in the air, but it can take 40 years or more for the cancer to reach late stages of development that show clear signs. This makes it a rare, but very deadly form of cancer.

It goes without saying that you should consult with a Mesothelioma specialist if you are unlucky enough to be diagnosed with this disease. The treatment you receive will reflect your current diagnosis, but it is vital that you realize the nature of the disease will call for a different approach than you usually receive. Most people are told that conservative treatment is the way to go with most disease. Continue reading ‘Getting Aggressive With Mesothelioma’ »
